Who is Gastón Álvarez?

Gastón Álvarez is a native of Mexico City, a technology lover, and a self-taught multimedia production enthusiast with over 20 years of experience collaborating with various studios all around the world.

Since 2006, i´ve mastered various roles on and off set, including Camera Operator and Manager, Drone Operator, Music Producer, Online Producer, Audio and Video Editor, Color Correction, Mograph and VFX Compositor, VFX Supervisor, DIT, Data Wrangler, VTR Operator, Mocap & Camera Tracking Supervisor, and is recently completing a specialization as a Virtual Production Supervisor. Since 2025 i´m Zeiss Power User for different technologies, Aximmetry Ambasador in México & Member of the VES (Visual Effects Society)
